Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 May 2026. These terms govern your use of the passmed.uk website ("the site") operated by Passmed Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).
1. About us
The passmed.uk website is operated by Passmed Pte. Ltd. ("Passmed", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Singapore. Our registered address is available on request to support@passmed.com. By using passmed.uk you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Passmed. Our service is designed for medical students and qualified medical professionals preparing for UK medical examinations. By creating an account you confirm you meet these eligibility criteria.
3. Account & security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Don't share your login with anyone else. Simultaneous logins from multiple locations may flag your account for review and, in cases of clear credential sharing, may result in account suspension.
4. Subscriptions & payment
One-off payments, no auto-renewal. All subscriptions are one-off purchases for a fixed duration (1, 2, 3, 6, or 12 months) at the price displayed at the point of purchase. We do not auto-renew. You will not be charged again at the end of your subscription period. When your subscription ends, your account remains active with limited demo access; to continue with full access you must actively choose a new paid plan.
Prices are in GBP and inclusive of all applicable taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor; we never store your full card details on our servers.
5. Free trial
We offer a 7-day free trial on every exam bank for new users, with no card required to start. The trial does not auto-convert to a paid subscription. We will not charge you at the end of the trial. To continue with full access after your trial ends, you must actively choose a paid plan from your account. If you don't, your account stays free with limited demo access.
6. Refunds & money-back guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of paid purchase, separate from your free trial period. By choosing to begin your paid subscription immediately, you give your express consent to supply of the digital content during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel under regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 would otherwise end once content has been supplied. We voluntarily extend a money-back guarantee on the following terms:
You are eligible for a full refund if:
(a) you request the refund within 14 days of your paid purchase, and
(b) you have answered fewer than 50 questions in total across your trial and paid subscription in the relevant exam bank.
Refunds can be requested from your account under Order History; we process approved refunds to your original payment method within 10 business days. App Store purchases (Apple or Google) must be refunded through the relevant app store directly - we are unable to process those refunds.
Outside these terms, we may offer a partial refund or credit toward another exam bank at our discretion. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
7. Content & intellectual property
All questions, explanations, images, and editorial content on passmed.uk are the intellectual property of Passmed Pte. Ltd. or our licensors. You may use this content for your personal study and exam preparation only. You may not copy, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit any Passmed content without our written consent.
Bulk extraction (including via automated tools, screen-capture, OCR, or AI scraping) is expressly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use passmed.uk to do anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or that infringes another person's rights. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, reverse-engineer our software, or use our content to train AI models or for any other commercial purpose.
9. Availability & changes
We aim for 99.5% uptime, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance and will provide notice for planned downtime. We may update our questions, features, and pricing at any time; significant changes will be communicated by email and on the site.
10. Limitation of liability
The Passmed service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we take editorial accuracy seriously, our content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for clinical training, supervision, or professional judgement. We are not liable for any exam outcome, professional decision, or clinical decision made by a user. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms (including credential sharing, content extraction, or fraudulent payment); in such cases, any voluntary money-back guarantee under section 6 is forfeit, but your statutory rights are unaffected. On termination, your access ends but our retention of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore for all matters not relating to UK consumer protection. UK consumers retain all rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, and may bring disputes in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland as applicable to their location.
